My all time favourite brass stamping-tooled from a Craftsman era die still in service. This big moth has true Arts and Crafts styling-I have given it a perfect vintage West German 8mm harlequin glass stone, set in a lace bezel.

Heavy sterling silverplate over brass-very Glasgow School in design. Plated by the best plater in the business, there is so much silver in this plate that the moth will patinate more over time.

Hang from a length of heavy old sterling chain-ask me if you want me to drill the wingtips for you- or make an elaborate beaded assembly. Left as is, he can be a brooch with the addition of a pinback, or beautiful simply mounted on a velvet backdrop and framed as an art piece.

2+3/4" wide between the wingtips, 2+1/2" along each wingside. Rich looking, very elegant and arresting.

DON'T FORGET to ask for drilling if you need it-it's a free service.

I'm listing lots of designer's components this week, so be sure to stop by often-and thanks!
