Item details

Handmade

This natural creamy white Corriedale combed top is ready to be spun or felted. This is some the softest Corriedale fiber that I have ever used!

Corriedale has a longer staple length, an average micron count of 25-30, yet is next to skin soft and has a very lofty bloom when spun.

Corriedale sheep originated as a merino and Lincoln cross in New Zealand and Australia. They were bred to survive in lower rainfall area and still produce a long staple wool. They are the oldest cross breed of sheep and are raised all over the world for both meat and wool.

Items made from wool or alpaca fibers are hand wash only, lay flat to dry.

Items made with acrylic yarns are machine washable, tumble dry low.

Due to the aluminum scales, we recommend hand washing any handknit scalemail items.
