This lesson teaches you to make a beaded frame for a pendant. Though it is shown on a teardrop shaped bead, it can easily be adapted to work with almost any shape of bead, including crystal points. Also, if you prefer a frame without beads, you can leave them out of the weave for a simpler look. You could even use a different style of weave for the frame.

With a little bit of imagination, and few changes here and there, you can create a limitless number of pieces using the techniques in this tutorial.

The stone used for the pendant I made while illustrating this tutorial is a titanium druzy teardrop. An excellent supplier for the druzy beads used in this design is NeatoThings on Etsy: (She also sells the gorgeous Solar Quartz beads that I used in one of the sample pendants)

**NOTICE** Starting January 1st, 2015, sales will be disabled to countries within the European Union due to the new Digital Tax Laws.

Skill Level:

•1 Teardrop shaped bead - Must be top side drilled (other shapes can be used for this lesson with a few adaptations)

•28g Round Soft Wire (amount depends on size of bead)
•2mm beads (amount depends on size of focal bead)

•Chain nose pliers
