This beautiful 8" Ginny doll was made by the Vogue Doll Company in 1955. Hard plastic with a Dynel wig, brown sleep eyes with molded plastic lashes and a walker mechanism. She is Vogue #64 "Bridal Trousseau".

The beautiful little dress is made of white taffeta with a lace overskirt and long sleeved bodice trimmed in picot around the arms and neck line. Embellished at the waist with a bouquet of sweet peas. The lace and tulle veil is held in place with a circle of elastic. White undies and satin slippers complete the outfit.

The doll is in nice condition with no body splits or stains and perfectly functioning walker mechanism. She is lightly blushed with nice eye and lip paint and no lash chips. Her harder-to -find brown eyes still open and close but are not as fluttery as they once were. Her wig is nice but a little thinner on one side.

The dress is also in nice condition with no tears or stains but has been laundered in the past as evidenced by the frayed tag (Medford, Mass.) and the softness of the fabric. The little tie slippers are frayed around the top. Our low price reflects the overall condition.
