This is a custom PC board I made that allows you to use the popular 27C322 and 27C160 EPROMs with your SNES cartridges to make reproductions. The 27C322 and 160 are 42-pin devices, but the SNES EPROM socket is only 36 pins large. This board is similar to the small adapter boards I offer, but you can use this board without having to remove the original Mask ROM! Just clip the /OE pin on the original ROM and bridge the pin to VCC.

This board does not include the multiplexers needed with 27C322 chips, but provides through-hole sockets for them. If you want them pre-soldered, please see my other listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/760380378/27c322-to-snes-extended-adapter-board

This board will work for nearly any reproduction SNES game up to 32 Mbit (4 MB). It fits nicely in the original SNES PCB and also on reproduction boards. This listing does not include the EPROM as well, it is only in the pictures for reference. Please note that this board WILL NOT fit donor cartridges that have three chips stacked on the right side, such as the board seen here: https://snescentral.com/pcbboards.php?chip=SHVC-2J3M-01

When used with a SNES board that only has one or two chips stacked on the right of the board, the original board plus this adapter will fit inside the cartridge.

You may need to trim back "mousebites" on the PCB to fit the 27C160 in the socket (see picture). 27C322 should have no interference.
Trim the backside pins on any chip that interferes with the board to ensure the adapter board is close to the donor. Try fitting it in the cartridge before soldering to be sure.
