Please lay your rug flat and wet it and spread the soap or baby shampoo lightly over the top.you can also sprinkle a bit of white vinegar over the surface to add shine and strength to the fibers. Brush the rug vertically and horizontally both with and against the grain. Use the back of the brush like a squeegee to force soap excess water from the rug. Rinse the rug while its laying flat.if you can still smell the vinegar it is not thoroughly rinsed.
