What is gold-filled metal?

I love the item and find it really cute. The only thing is it doesn't look anything like in the picture :( and the stone is thin and small :(( but I still love it and think it's cute! I love how you can open the bottle and I just love everything about it even if it doesn't match the picture :)))))
