These spalted poplar buttons are handcrafted from a fallen branch on a neighbor's property.

The buttons are approximately 1 1/8 inch across and 3/16 inch thick. Each one has been sanded smooth and finished with beeswax polish. Each button has two holes, and the bark has been removed. These buttons will be a lovely accent for knitwear, crocheted items, or any other project where you would like a unique embellishment.

It would not be a good idea to put these on something that will be machine-washed or otherwise soaked in water. Gentle handwashing should be fine if you don't let the buttons soak and pat them dry immediately after washing. Also, these would not hold up well to being put through the dryer.

The buttons you will receive are the ones pictured.
