Horses? pff. Predate, my friend, Attack the herbivores!

This little item is what we'd call a handmade rocking dragon, something for those kids who dream more fancifully than most.

It's made to be darn near indestructable, with structural pine timbers, and solid oak dowels. The entire item is solid wood. No metal, at all- not a screw, not a nail, not even a little metal fiddly joining-thing. none of that.

I almost wish we had used metal, it would have been easier to make, but no, it's better, stronger this way.

The function of this miraculous item? well.. it rocks.. but i assure you it looks very cool doing it, and seems to appeal to people of the right age\/mindset. This particular rocking dragon was sized for a five year old; However, we went kinda overboard on the strength of this thing, so it will easilly hold just over 200 pounds (roughly 91 kilos for those of you that use a logical measuring system. )

if a kid wishes to ride it, no matter how big, it should work.

For those of you that are cynics, yes, i stress tested it by sitting on it. it held me fine, so nyah.

moving on- This was inked by hand, using carbon india ink, and a japanese caligraphy brush. It is clear coated with linseed(flaxseed) oil, garnet pure shellac , and food grade varnish. Should be totally safe for kids, but humans can't digest wood, so don't let them eat it.
