This little critter is a Tokay Gecko, a nocturnal gecko with sticky toes so it can climb straight up walls! It is known for its characteristic vocalizations, from which it gets its name. This gecko, however, won't be roaming around your house or making noises! It will sit quietly wherever you put it, in a rock garden, on a desk or coffee table as a paper weight, or in a flower pot.

This gecko is original art painted on a rock. Stone art requires no expensive framing—just place it wherever you need a little touch of originality! Each painted rock is one of a kind, as no two rocks can be identical.

I signed and dated the bottom with the year (2010, when this was painted). The shine you see in the photographs is a coating of acrylic sealer to protect it from the elements, so this little critter can even be displayed outside. However, sunlight may fade the colors over time.

This rock measures approximately 4.5" at its widest and 2" tall. Colors may or may not be represented correctly, due to color variations in computer monitors.

Shipping includes the price to ship the item by weight in the USA (priority mail or flat rate, whichever is cheaper that the rock will fit in), cost of delivery confirmation, plus $1.00 to cover packaging costs and the trip to the post office. (These prices are set for the farthest distance I can ship them in the US, and may be cheaper to send to where you live. If you are interested in buying this item, please send me your zip code in an Etsy Conversation and I’ll give you a more exact price for shipping.)

Thanks for dropping by! I hope you take a look at my other little rock critters for sale.
