38 page soft cover first aid booklet, published by The Iodex Company circa 1920s - 1930s. Iodex "no-stain iodine" was advertised as "an ideal surgical dressing, the kind your doctor uses" and, unsurprisingly, is given as a suitable remedy for many ailments and injuries throughout the booklet.

Contains some great photos and wonderful pieces of advice like this one:
"Don't let a patient sleep that has taken opium, morphine or chloral sleep. Give strong coffee, dash water in face and keep awake by annoying and moving at any cost. Don't overdo this, however, or patient may sleep from sheer exhaustion."

The booklet is a little bit dog-eared and has blue ink marks on the front cover (see photo). Light vertical crease through whole book and small losses to two cover corners. Otherwise in good condition with no annotations.

Measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches.
