This top was so fabulous, I finished it into this thick, contemporary primitive quilt....which measures 62 x 64, post wash, no shrinkage to worry about. Would be great on a twin, or as a couch quilt in a cold house. being in the south, houses can be cold in winter or summer, from air conditioning.

It has two layers of organic cotton, as well as the backing being a thicker than usual broadcloth fabric. So first thing you need to know, is just how thick, heavy and warm this piece is. The top dates to between late 60's to late 70's, this one is hard to pin down. The maker picked bright, very desireable shirt type top fabrics, and it will brighten any room it is in, and create instant decor.

The finishing ended up being primitive. The thickness and machine I had then made it harder to get the finished polished look we all strive for. But that said, it is at the same time well put together, in that it washes and wears fine.

I'm on a listing roll for both shops, so check back when you can. Thanks for stopping in, consider stopping by my other etsy shop, http://www.etsy.com/shop/AntiquesandVaria....I give discounts for multiple item orders, and free shipping coupon for additional items. Be well!!
P.S. Husband John just opened a shop, go peek if you have time, http://www.etsy.com/shop/IndustrialPlanet
