Item details

Vintage from the 1990s

I believe that 'Bis' was the Charles Jourdan label's youth diffusion label, started in the Nineties, but these shoes are clearly heavily inspired by the Seventies archive and certainly had me fooled until I researched it a bit! Made from a pink plastic moulded platform sole and high heel (which has that slightly sweet smell like Melissa shoes) and the upper is made from an orange snakeskin and lined in gold leather. If these were my size, I'd definitely be holding onto them!

Measurements:

Stamped '6', I think this must be US sizing so a UK4

Insole measures 9" (22.8cm) / Width at widest point of sole is 3" (7.6cm) / Heel height is 3.5" (8.9cm)

Fabric:

Sole is plastic. Insoles are stamped leather but I'm uncertain if the snakeskin is real.

Condition:

Wear mainly to the plastic as you can see from the photos. They don't feel much worn. Sold as vintage.
