This listing is for Marilyn's LBD in ALL SIZES for a whopping 57 pages (be forewarned!) Please refer to size guide above. I'd advise you to print only the sizes you need or you'd spend a lot of resources on paper and ink.
The Marilyn's LBD is so named because I can absolutely see Ms Monroe sashaying about town in high black-suede heels and this dress!
The Marilyn's LBD is a basic sheath dress for knits. The pattern is extremely straightforward to make up. There are no darts - the shaping is all in the side seams. It's just a matter of adjusting the pattern for fit and your choice of stretch fabric (best with a 4-way stretch), and sewing up the seams.
Pattern instructions include how to scale the pattern to suit the stretch factor of your fabric and other tips on working with stretch.
The pattern DOES NOT include any seam allowances which makes it much easier for you to adjust measurements on the pattern before cutting it out. You also get to use your own preferred seam allowances (although recommended seam allowances are provided in the instructions).
