I’m a recovering Mimiholic. It’s been nine years since I’ve bought any of Mimi’s art pieces—until a couple weeks ago when I bought this (incredibly handsome) tattooed merman. Back in 2012 and prior, I’d bought several of her highly creative creations, including a tattooed circus man and a bearded lumberjack. I’ve been in recovery since then, until I saw and fell head-over-heels with this merman. Mimi caused me to fall (in love). As you can see, he’s perfection—absolute amazing embroidery, attention to every detail, and artful composition. He’s now part of the family, and we say welcome to him and thank you—and huzzah!—to Mimi!
I absolutely love my green haired merman with the retro tattoos! I have been thinking about getting one of Mimi’s art dolls for a while now and finally decided to treat myself. I am so glad that I did! They are beautifully made and so incredibly unique!!!
This Doggy School Girl is great. She's on the mantel next to Kitty Boy who I got from Mimi K. a few years ago at a Smithsonian Craft Fair. She's beautifully made with lovely details - little notebook, pencil and scarf in her backback - and just what I was expecting. Thank you
I have been wanting write this review for a while now but never knew how to put my excitement into words. I have been following Mimi ever since I was a little girl. I remember watching a series called handmade portraits on YouTube where Mimi was featured and she instantly became someone I aspired to be! It was her that made me dream of becoming a doll maker. I knew one day I had to purchase one of these dolls from the lady who inspired me and I am happy to say that now I have two!! Hopefully one day I can get my hands on the little swaddled baby covered in roses! Thank you for everything Mimi!
Thank you so much! I am beaming!
