The wood for the seats of these stools is reclaimed from renovation projects or the slab pile at the local sawmill. The twig legs, rescued from roadside tree trimming, are mortise and tenoned though the seat, and secured with wood glue and wooden wedges. There may be some minor season cracks in the wood that don't affect use, but ad character. The aged appearing finish is linseed oil and turpentine The bark on the legs has a nice texture and feel. The stools in the fotos above are sold, but yours will be of the same character, maybe even nicer. Each is hand made from all RE-claimed materials and sizes vary some. The seats are about 8" x 10". The stools are about 10" by 12" by 10" high overall. Each is a ONE and ONLY. A great piece for your cabin, rustic or primitive decor.
