I'm not sure exactly what these were intended to be--cabochons or beads? They have flat, unfinished bottoms, the tops are very slightly rounded with inset square shape and hole with inset around it where a stone could be set. The edges of these are rough with lots of little nics. They measure about 17mm across. Color is carnelian red.

You will receive 12.

Most of the beads I offer will be vintage glass. You should assume vintage unless otherwise noted. I am not a bead expert, but I have been collecting beads for a couple years now and have done some research. And I have an eye for distinguishing differences. Beads are notorious for being tricky to determine origin and age. Even experts can be unsure or even fooled. The beads I sell as vintage have either been sold to me as vintage and I believe them to be, they came from vintage jewelry, or are to my eye clearly vintage for various reasons. It's always possible that I might make a mistake. I would never intentionally sell anything as something other than I believed it to be. In any case, all my beads are special, beautiful, quality beads. I will give age and origin if known or guessed and list the size of the beads. It should be assumed that most of the beads are hand wound and will therefore vary in size and shape a little bit. When I offer pairs, I will make an effort to send beads that match in size and shape as much as possible. I have very limited quanties of these beads, but I usually have multiples. If you need more than the offered amount, just email and I'll set up a reserved listing.
