All our products are finished with a water and alcohol resistant finish. It is important to clean and maintain the piece to ensure a long lasting finish. Improper care of your piece may result in the finish fading or another undesirable effect. In the absence of a specialty cleaner, please clean with water and lemon oil or a basic furniture cleaner. Specifically, Noodle Boards, Stove Top Covers must be stored flat or perfectly horizontal or the board will likely warp. Contact me if you have any questions.

If you are making a Custom Order for a live edge slab - the width on each slab will vary due to the natural edge. Of course everything can be adjusted to accommodate your specific requirements. The actual sizing will vary +/- a few inches on each slab depending where the measurement is taken or if you choose a traditional edge or profile.

I'll be happy to put a bow on for those special occasions as well as a note from you! Packaging will certainly vary depending for each item. Crating with foam or otherwise will depend on what it is and how it's being shipped. Also if you're interested in White Glove Service (Delivery and Set-Up) please let me know so I may make arrangements and if there will be a cost.

While volume is tempting, I make each item myself by hand. I can not compete with box stores or Chinese factories. Instead, I'll entertain your request for consideration at my pace.

Book matched pieces are my favorite. I make live edge or straight edge slab dining tables, counter tops, benches, headboards, coffee tables and much more. Although I'm abundant in Eastern Cherry, Maple and Black Walnut, I offer beautiful Claro Walnut, White Walnut, Tiger Maple, Big Leaf Maple, Spalted, Birdseye, Quilted and much more.

Each slab is carefully hand crafted from start to finish. The drying process takes 3-5 years for harder woods such as Cherry, Maple and Walnut. Once the moisture content of the slab reaches 10-12% the material is ready to be worked. Each piece is then hand cut, shaped, sanded and finished. No part of the process is automated. Because of this, no piece is deemed to be flawless. Rather, each piece has its own unique character and is one of a kind. I intentionally select imperfect cuts of wood with the most figure available.
I offer you a personal one-of-a-kind of a quality Heirloom that hopefully will be handed down from generation to generation with the same anticipation and excitement you'll be experiencing.

Your piece is made of 100% natural wood with the exception of resin tables. By nature, this product will expand and contract due to environmental factors. Due to the nature of this product, no piece is deemed "perfect" or defect free. The beauty lies in each imperfection.
Tree timber stays alive long after it is cut down. The best way to prevent changes is to keep the piece(s) away from humidity, direct light and heat sources (fire place, heating duct, AC vent, etc). Direct sun and extreme temperatures are wood's worst enemy. These products are made from real trees, and will react to external forces. It is natural for wood.
