Creamy white and butter yellow outside and creamy yellow on inside
Perfect condition, very fragile porcelain, thin and delicate
1 ¾” high, 5 ¼” x 4 ¼” oval shape with displayed scallop shells.
The maker’s mark on the bottom, called the third green, dates this bowl to 1965-1981.
The hard parian ware, which is extremely light and eggshell thin, became very well known due to its surface iridescence similar to mother of pearl. The Belleek Pottery was established in Ireland in the late in 1857, by Robert William Armstrong
