Here we have vintage genuine Fiesta turquoise bulb candle holders, 1936 to 1946, by the Homer Laughlin China Company. This pair is valued at 135 dollars in major genuine Fiesta pricing guides.

These Fiesta ware bulb candle holders, from the Homer Laughlin China Company, were produced between 1936 and 1946. With their distinctively Art Deco design, these two are quite striking in their beauty.

Each holder measures 3" wide by 3 3/4" high, and the base/pedestal is just under 2 ½” across. The bottoms are marked with the proper marking: fiesta HLCo USA.

There is a glaze line along the sides where the glaze slightly overlapped while these pieces were being hand-dipped, which avid Fiesta collectors will know was how vintage Fiesta was glazed. The glaze overlap is actually a sign of authenticity since newer Fiesta is spray-glazed.

One bulb candle holder has the tiniest indention on one corner of the base, but this is under the glaze, before the dip-glazing and firing; it came from the factory that way. If you look closely at the final image at the holder on the right, you will barely be able to spot it, it is so slight. In fact, I had never noticed it in all my decades of owning these pieces until today while going over every square inch of these pieces with a magnifying glass to prepare this Etsy description in excruciating detail for you.

That same candle holder has a small, narrow dark area along the inner rim where the candle once burned too low. This shows in some of the images. When displayed in the home such as on a table or on a mantle, this area is barely noticeable.

That same holder also has a couple of glaze pimples, which are considered common factory occurrences .

The other candle holder appears to be free of any little characteristics.

This piece is guaranteed authentic older Fiestaware. They come from a non-smoking home. I have owned this piece for decades, having acquired it at an estate auction in the 1980s. I have dealt in antiques and collectibles for over 30 years, but now it is time for me to downsize my collections.

Please ask all questions ahead of time, before purchasing so there will be no need for a return. I do not want to subject these candle holders to the risk of breakage from multiple mailings. I will be happy to answer as many questions as you may have so you will be sure of your decision before purchasing.

These magnificent vintage Fiesta candle holders will make fabulous additions to your vintage Fiesta collection.
