The hot family vacation destination in the 1950s was the western part of the United States. John Wayne, the Lone Ranger, and Roy Rogers were all cowboy stars of the time. This darling birch bark canoe was originally hand made by Indians during that time as a souvenir for western travelers. It measures 11 1/4 inches long and 4 inches wide and is in wonderful vintage condition. This canoe would look great with lodge and western decor, as well as, retro.
