Joyfully sparkling Austrian lead crystal stones by Swarovski embed the gold plated backdrop for these wonderful earrings by Eisenberg. The hallmark EISENBERG ICE with the copyright symbol dates these to approximately 1970. The attention to detail from the craftsman who handset the stones is perfect. As with a lot of Eisenberg jewelry these jewels are created in a swirling design that is three dimensional with large stones peeking out from under the most famous costume jewelry ribbons in the world.
The colors of these stones are so brilliant in a deep passionate red orange against a light Colorado topaz and crystal clear pave "ICE"...there are three marquise cut stones climbing up the ear with the pave' sweeping back from the face with three sizes of round cut dentelle stones following...there is a secret to these beautiful stones...when the craftsman was setting them, he became distracted or possibly even mischievous because one of the stones peeking out under pave' is bright orange red and on the other earring it is the more subdued topaz...a secret for your ears only.
