this is an original OOAK piece of found poetry by anca gray, titled WHITE FUNERAL. it was created by erasing words of an antique book text and framing it on the page as a poem.

size: 8"x10"
medium: antique book page, oil pastels, acrylic, canvas board
palette: white, silver
style: contemporary

the poem reads:

by the window quietly,
the faint fragrance
of flowers, peraps
reminded him
of the funeral
but smoking in hospitals-
the temptation ran restless.
clinging thought
of death
had meddled.
he remembered all too well.

the edges are left raw as the page was torn out of the book. the poem is mounted on canvas wrapped board textured with white acrylic paint. it can be framed or displayed as is.

the piece will be packaged with care and mailed securely via USPS. i ship 24-48 hours from purchase during business days.

thank you for taking an interest in my art! i will happily answer any questions and requests for custom work.
