The June 1934 Better Homes and Gardens magazine - the complete issue.

What a beautiful cover this issue has The little girl admiring the hollyhocks is a stunning and poignant image. It was painted by Phillip Lyford. There is lots of wonderful material in this issue, from colorful period advertising to information on house construction, interior decor, landscaping and gardening, home cooking - and through to a few nifty fictional pieces.

I love the colorful cover ... and browsing through the magazine conjures up a pleasing and nostalgic sense of the past.

June is almost over! Hoorah for June!

The condition of this magazine is very good. It has been gently used and shows signs of that use - The head of the spine has a bit of splitting - there is a bit of creasing and surface rub to the exterior (the rub most pronounced on the back cover - the back cover also has a tiny, pin-prick-sized hole near the top fore-edge corner), but the interior is nice and clean throughout - and the front cover displays brightly. There is a faint mailing address on the rear
