In an exclusive design I am combining lost photographs of ancestors long forgotten with feathers to create beautiful works of wearable art. These photographs, long sitting and gathering dust in antique stores will live again despite having their names lost to time. Through these wearable works of art these beautiful people can live again and be remembered.

This particular photograph I call the Pastoralists. The group of young men and women are posed beneath the trees in what appears to be around 1900-1910 style clothing. The photo stated that these people were from Danielson, CT and so were possibly from a farming community.

The photograph is combined with gorgeous wing feathers from a golden pheasant and orange colored feathers from a ring necked pheasant. It creates a beautiful assemblage that appears almost Native American or even like a feather mohawk.

The headband is of a gorgeous braided gold that compliments the photo and feathers. The photograph is placed on sturdy canvas cloth. However, due to the nature of the antique photographs avoid extended periods of strong sunlight and moisture.
