This is a hand made flint knife with a deer antler handle. The point was knapped by KL Stewart, the antler aquired by me and the knife put together by me as well as the hand made sheath to protect it. The point is 4" long not including the tongue inserted in the antler and is 2" wide at the widest point. The antler measures about 5" long and 2 1/2" around at it's thickest end. The total length of the knife is 7 1/4" not taking into account the curve in the handle. The leather sheath is custom made to fit this knife with belt loop and a snap shut keeper for the handle. The sheath has a stamped lizard effigy in the front center with leafy tree branches stamped in each corner and a crescent design around the border. It is double laced around the edges with artificial sinue. A Unique gift for the man in your life or for men who like a usable conversation piece. This knife is sturdy enough and sharp enough to use in such activities as fleshing out a hide for tanning or skinning out a hunting kill or to just have as a collectors item that not many others would have.
