Here is a c.1950's Bakelite Cuff Bracelet and Earring Set that is done in transparent cream and beige colors that look to be like brush strokes inside the translucent piece. This is a very old set.
The Cuff Bracelet inside of the Cuff measures 2" from side to side, it is made for a small wrist. The top of the Bracelet measures 1.25" in width. The top of the Bracelet is a little concave in design while the Earrings are a little domed at the top.

The matching Bakelite Earrings are Clips, but the once riveted hardware was glued back on instead of riveted like it was suppose to be. It does not hamper wearing the Earrings but it should be mentioned. I have dropped the price accordingly because of this. The Earrings measure just slightly under 1" in diameter.

This Bakelite set it self is in very good condition, no scratches or scrapes. It is ready for you to wear and match to your own jewelry collection.
The Bracelet and Earrings will come in a box, it is to thick to go out in an envelope.

This Bakelite Bracelet has been Hot Water Test and is authentic Bakelite. There are no visible seams or mold lines, the bracelet sunk to the bottom in the sugared and salted water that registered 1.25 on the battery tester.

Frequently asked questions about TheVintageBlingBox

Vintage Jewelry should never be immersed in water because of stones and materials used in the construction of said jewelry. Using a dry cloth to clean and polish jewelry is the best method. I use a microfibre cloth and it does amazingly well in dusting of and sparkling up these beautiful pieces. You can use a soft toothbrush to get in between the stones. Gently with the brush.

Keep jewelry in a dry place. Moisture is not your costume jewelry friend.

Bakelite pieces should be kept away from your other jewelry pieces. Store in a separate box.

Beaded necklaces should be stored flat instead of hung if you want to keep the waxed cord from stretching out.

I keep my gold-tone and silver-tone pieces separate also.
