This beautiful set of bottles would complete your coastal decor look. They would look beautiful on a mantel, shelf or end table. What a beautiful set of bottles for your friends and family to admire. Group them or separate them throughout the room.

I search high and low for these beautiful bottles to turn them from trash to treasure. Many are filled with years and years of debris. I clean them up, add sand to most and decorate. I painstakingly go through my seashell collection for just the right piece for each bottle.

The tallest bottle has no markings but you can tell it is old from the bottle opening, the seams along the side of the bottle and the air bubbles in the glass. This bottle was once corked and probably dates in the early 1900s. It probably help medicine or was some sort of apothecary bottle. It is decorated with a natural colored knobby starfish, edged with silver leaf paint and trimmed around the neck with pink velvet ribbon. I've also added light aqua sand to the inside.

The bottle with the sea urchin was a medicine bottle. It is embossed on the sides with the words: Dr. Pitcher. And on the other side is the word: Castoria. Fletcher's Castoria was patented in 1868, and has been in continuous manufacture since. Read more here:
http://www.centaur.com To the top of this bottle I have added a lovely pink sea urchin, edged the bottle with silver leaf paint and trimmed it with pink velvet ribbon. I've also added light aqua sand to the inside.

The shortest bottle with the beautiful brown and pink cone shell is a beautiful round unmarked bottle. It has a slight cloudiness on the inside, which I love. Makes the bottle look like sea glass to me. This bottle probably held some sort of medicine and dates around the same, late 1800s to early 1900s. I've added light aqua sand to the inside. Topped the bottle with a lovely brown, white and pink Striate Cone shell. This shell is beautiful, especially if you love pink.

This set of bottles is perfect for anyone who loves aqua, pink and brown.
