One silver circle nestled inside another, off center like rain drops splashed into a pool of water just moments apart in time. Each silver circle is textured with a different pattern – the larger with rhythmic lines like ripples of water and the smaller with wandering dots like random rainfall.
I fused fine silver wire to make the circles and hammered them to add texture and pattern. I lightly oxidized the silver before tumbling and hand polishing it to bring back the lustrous shine and highlight the textured patterns. The sterling silver earwires were formed by hand, hammed and lightly oxidized to add character and a modern edge to the earrings.
