How to care for leather earrings

To keep your leather earrings in great condition it is best store them flat. Do not keep your leather jewelry in the bathroom and keep them away from excess water, makeup or hair products. Remember, all genuine leather will age with time. Keep your leather earrings looking their best by wiping them clean with a damp cloth, but not using too much water as it can discolor some of the lighter leathers and suedes. For most cleaning needs, a slightly damp Magic eraser will be sufficient. If an earring gets bent, it can be flattened with a warm iron by covering the earring with a cloth or towel and lightly steaming the leather part of the earring to flatten it. Make sure to always use the rubber backs!

Can I use essential oils on my leather earrings

You can use essential oils on your leather jewelry, but only use a small drop on the back side. Be aware that oils can discolor some leathers and cannot be removed.
