First edition of "Black, Bay and Chestnut, Profiles of Twenty Favorite Horses" by C.W. Anderson. Published by The Macmillan Company, New York in 1939 and lithographed by George C. Miller. This red, cloth bound book measures about 12-1/4" x 9-1/4" and is in good condition overall showing general wear (as would be expected with any old, well loved book). It is full of beautiful illustrations and stories about famous horses including Man O' War and Seabiscuit. No serious condition problems.
