The designer of this fabric is unknown, but the individual HAD to have been trippin'.

Combine "Memoirs... Geisha", the legendary Babe the Blue Ox, and Sonny and Cher on their 70's variety show... shake them, never stir... and you might come close.

This maxi dress is so bright, it caught my eye from the door of my favorite resale vintage shop. There are bold greens, vivid gold, turquoise, hot pink, black, white, plus throw in a few more colors just for good measure. I believe some talented home seamstress created this fabulous boho gown, because there are no tags inside. My guess is the content is polyester or some synthetic mix - I wouldn't stand too close to an open flame while wearing it. Let's just say a whole lot of esters died to create this one.

It is a flattering halter style, with hooks behind the neck. Your sexy shoulders and upper back are bare when wearing it. The wearer will need to be a tad smaller than my mannikin in the chest - I couldn't zip the zipper all the way up the mid back, so I would guess a 4 to 6. Check the measurements below to be sure.

Bust, waist, and hips were measured side seam to side seam, so double those numbers for the actual measurements of the gown.
Bust - 15 1/2"
Waist - 13 1/2"
Hips - 18 1/2"
Length (from back of the neck to hem - 60"

There are vertical darts to make this even a more form-fitting garment. Amazing vintage condition - no holes, no stains, no pulls. Cool, man.
