Fuzzy Wuzzy Waddles is Copyright 1945 by Whitman Publishing, Co of Racine, Wisconsin. Printed in the U.S.A. It also notes on the front cover 931 (likely a series number), M.E.T. (possibly initials of illustrator, since the initials are right near the duckling on the front cover), and "A Fuzzy Wuzzy Book Trademark".

This book has had some major lovin'! It was made for young hands to touch and feel (because the duckling is "fuzzy"!) There is tape of all kinds on this book. The children of my past family generations must have loved this book most, because some pages are covered (likely in many later years) with a whole page of what appears to be clear contact paper. In most places, you can still feel the real paper, the fuzzy duckling. There is wear all the way through in a spot on the front cover (check pictures carefully). The pages are bumped and worn. The illustrations are still colorful and lovely. And the story is a cute one about a duck that marches to his own drum, for sure! He does everything a duck would not be expected to do, including hide under an umbrella from rain water! Finally, in an act of heroism, he splashes into the water, and loves it.

Due to the wear of this adorable "fuzzy" feel-it type duckie book, I've priced it lower. I know someone will still love it for it's age, character, and fabulous illustrations.

Grandma kept everything and I can't enjoy it all myself, so I'll share with you! Please check out my other vintage items of all types on GreenGablesLane.etsy.com
