Grandma kept EVERYTHING! Here is a Spiral Notebook. The first pages inside have "Album Gems" pasted to the pages with old-fashioned paste. (There are 14 pages with sayings on them, just as you see in the photos above). These are the sayings that you would write in someone's memory book or autograph book! The rest of the spiral notebook is just blank paper that is old, old, old! (Would be great for many DIY uses! It has a nice creamy brownish-white patina to those lined pages!)

There are two loose newspaper cuttings with more Album Gems that didn't ever get pasted on that are included, as well. (They were hiding in the notebook, so didn't get into the pictures!)

Inside the notebook, I also found this 1928 calendar page. (Grandma kept everything, and made use of most things!) The back of the calendar page is a note either written between her and her cousin. They were tallying how much one owed the other for some supplies! It was just like Grandma to use whatever paper she could find to use as a note or letter. It made for strange notes or letters way back when....but now, as I come across these things, I appreciate the old clippings and things she wrote on, as well as her writing! She didn't like to waste.....(and did I mention....she kept EVERYTHING!??! LOL! Check out my shop for more of Grandma's things).

The mark around the front and back of the notebook are from a rubber band. (It was probably from the 1920's too, from the looks of it! LOL!) It has aged onto the notebook.

Approximate measurement of The Spiral Notebook: 7 by 4.25 inches

*********Additional Info: The pages go like this.....3 blank pages (front and back), then 7 pages of the autograph clippings glued in (front and back), then 38 more blank pages (front and back).*****

As you can see, Grandma kept everything. I can't enjoy it all myself, so I'll share with you on GreenGablesLane!
