The scent memory that started it all: the discovery of the Aerangis flower in a Taiwanese garden. The scent of The Beginning is elegant, clean, and comforting. It evokes the purity and simplicity of the white, star-shaped orchid that emits a fresh green scent. Musk and sandalwood also wrap the soft florals, adding a hint of warmth.

The first burn is the most important! When you bring your new candle home and light it for the first time, make sure you'll be around for a while. Light the candle, and let it burn in a draft-free area until the pool of melted wax reaches the edges of the container. This can take up to three hours, so be patient! If you don't allow the candle to burn to the edges on the first burn, it most likely won't ever get there on future burns. If for any reason the wick becomes off-center while burning, always be sure to blow it out and recenter it before the wax dries.

1. When only 1/4 inch of wax remains, it's time to give that candle a new life! Don't burn a candle with less than 1/4 of wax remaining, that's not safe.
2. Use a spoon to scoop out the remaining wax and wick, and wipe out any excess wax using a small rag. Feel free to wash the container with warm water, too. A dab of rubbing alcohol helps to remove wax and can go a long way in removing greasy residue.
3. Now the fun part. Fill your empty Aerangis candle jar with your favorite potted plant or succulent, toothbrushes or makeup brushes in the bathroom, pens and pencils on your desk - the possibilities are endless.

I bought this as a gift for my husband on our wedding day. He absolutely loves the sandlewood. It's a very adorable little candle. Smaller than I expected but nonetheless I am very happy with this purchase. We love that the dust cover contains flower seeds to plant in the container after you finish the candle! This gift (especially the title! "No. 01 The Beginning") was so perfect to celebrate our new marriage. I will be returning to this shop for future anniversaries. it's crazy to me that I think that this small candle is so worth it for $30+ because of the obvious care and love that has gone into the creation of this candle. it smells incredible and the packaging and make is incredible. I love it and am blown away by the product

Love these candles. I'm actually a chandler myself but am always wanting to check out others' products, especially what I perceive as the unique, quality, handcrafted items. The quality of these candles are top of the line. The containers have been made by Aerangis, the candles are poured by Aerangis, the packaging is all Aerangis. This candle line makes me want to do better. Thank you.
