A decorative beaded bowl made by women from Unity Women's Village in Samburu, Kenya. Bowl measures 6 inches diameter at the top and 2.5 inches diameter at the base, with a height of approximately 3 inches. 58% of the proceeds go directly back to the women artisans and 42% of the proceeds go towards supporting scholarships that send local youth to secondary school (see www.samburu [!at] samburuyouth.org).

I love it! I collect hand made baskets and this is a beauty! What a wonderful addition to my collection! I have been looking for something just like this to hold my favorite earrings. This little beauty is beaded and wired together. The lid is well fitted and fits securely. If it was to land on its side it would not spill its content. Mine is about 4 and ½ inches tall without the leaves that make it about 6 inches tall overall. It is about 6 inches across at it widest part of the bowl. What a find!!!

Item exactly as described and pictured. Unfortunately, it was a tad too big for my wrist but I don't mind. I'm just happy to support the Samburu women and youth in northern Kenya, and I hope more people will, too!
