This original pencil drawing is Reform School. It was derived from a vintage ID photo from a reformatory in Jefferson City, Missouri. Date and name of the unfortunate juvenile offender is unknown.

This piece is from my "Just a Number" series. These are derived from vintage mug shots or prison ID photos. I find the people in these photos, often identified only by a number, compelling because they serve to remind us of our humanity, frailty, and need for redemption. We are all more than just a number.

The actual image size of the drawing is approx. 4 3/4 x 6 inches on a 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of Bristol Board. It is unmatted and unframed. Watermark does not appear on drawing.

The artwork is sealed with fixative. It is signed and dated on the back and ships to you in an acid-free plastic sleeve sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard.

The artist retains all copyright privileges and protections. Sale of artwork does not transfer copyright.
