As you may know from reading my other item descriptions, I love to combine science and art in every day living. Science helped me to understand tradition, cooking, healing... One of those stories are related to garlic, a must in the kitchen and garden. I can write a book about it, and if you are interested, let me know, I would be glad to share some recipes and stories, but for this listing I will restrain to description:

Tupelo wood structure inspired me to carve a garlic cloves, as you can see, it's natural color and structure really resemble garlic. It is left as a token, if that is your preference. However, if you want, it can be a pin or a pendant - just let me know in the note to a seller if you want any of these modifications.

Garlic is a bit over 1.5" wide, and just a bit less than that high.

Thank you!

PS. My Nana (http://www.etsy.com/listing/37295222/my-nana-grandma-willow-inspired-original) firmly believed that garlic can protect you from vampires, in which existence she also believed.

PPS. This item made it to the ETSY front page :-)
