These beautiful fabrics are from antique handwoven kimonos I took apart. The fabrics have been dyed with indigo and other natural plant dyes. The makeup of the fabrics is cotton with perhaps some hemp. The colors are vibrant and the fabrics is in great shape. As these are antique fabrics there are some small holes from sewing, patches, and discolorations from place to place. The Grey fabric measures 13" by 52" and they indigo kasuri is 13" by 24". The Kasuri has a rip along the edge you can see in the first picture. these would be great for crafts, framed, or added to a boro collection.
