This is a 9 foot tall by 17 foot long quilt I made from a flag that I found discarded at the goodwill. I cut it down into its color pieces then pieced it back using traditional quilting techniques into a flag once again. so its reborn in a new life as a flag.

I really like the color modeling that has happened as a result of the wear of the original flag waving where ever it hung. I think its lovely.

There are hanging grommets along the top and it has been shown in several shows and continues to be requested for exhibition.

you can see me rocking and rolling in front of it for scale.
