Rose pink and lavender are plied together for a summer berry appeal: a little pink and a little maroon add depth to the color. I bought two kettle-dyed rovings from CurliC'Ewes, found here on Etsy, and this is the result.

This listing is for two 2-ply skeins, with a total weight of approximately 9.8 ounces, spun at an average of 1185 ypp (yards per pound). The total yardage for the two skeins is approximately 730 yards.

Spongy, with a little bit of sheen, this yarn wraps at 10-12. Corriedale is a sheep breed that was developed during the industrial revolution for the sweater trade. They needed a fiber that was a little longer than Merino for the machines, so they crossed Merino with the long-haired Lincoln to produce a new breed: Corriedale.

See my Store Policy FAQs section for further knitting gauge suggestions for various yard weights and care instructions for different fibers.

My skeins are wound on a full 2-yard niddy-noddy. If you don’t have a large swift, let me know. Spun in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
