One tall, skinny wooden bar spoon is perfect for stirring and muddling cocktails, iced tea, coffee drinks, and smoothies. As a chef and food stylist, I saw a need for functional and beautiful cooking tools. So, my husband Jeff, an artist, and I decided to make wooden spoons together in 2015.


The look and feel of the wooden spoons make for a joyful experience when using them. They are designed with an artist’s eye and a chef’s touch and with the best possible craftsmanship. We think wooden spoons should be part of your most treasured kitchen and cooking memories. The quality of our spoons can assure use for generations to come. We seal the spoons with food-safe flaxseed oil for a beautiful finish. They are easy to care for and a solution to today’s overuse of plastic. Just hand wash with mild soap and water and dry with a soft cloth.


We have access to some fantastic trees here in Vermont. We use locally sourced cherry, walnut, maple, and birch hardwoods. We use these in all of our designs. So it’s hard to pick a favorite!

Cherry: Richly-grained honey-colored wood. Cherry usually deepens over time, creating a richer hue. Some darker sap lines may be visible.

Walnut: Chocolate-colored wood. Some grain can be visible. Walnut wood can be light or dark.

Ambrosia Maple: Grain patterns in wood caused by abnormal growing conditions, also called figured maple, allow for contrasting shades of light and dark. "The colored and streaked wood offers a unique and charming appearance that captures the essence of nature at work. Surprisingly, the wood is just regular maple that's been visited by certain beetles who left holes that allowed a fungus to discolor the wood. Don't worry -- kiln drying evicted all bugs from the wood."

Birch: Light to reddish-brown colored wood. With a curly or wavy uniform grain.
