Can you use human hair/ashes as well as pet hair/ashes?

We can create your keepsake, whether it's a lock of hair of your child's first haircut or your beloved pet friend who passed away. However for cremation jewellery made with human ashes, please visit our website www.cosmiclensjewellery.co.uk Etsy does not allow selling jewellery with human ashes.

What kind of materials do you use?

We use high quality, jewellery grade resin and sterling silver.

How much hair do you need?

Depending on the design which you have chosen we would need different amounts of hair. We usually need a lock of hair around 4-5 cm long and the thickness of the pencil. However, if you don't have that much, we can still create the keepsake, even with only a few single hairs!

How much ashes do you need?

We need only a teaspoon of ashes to create your keepsake. Any unused ashes will be sent back to you along with the keepsake.

How should I care for my jewellery?

♥ Try to keep your resin jewellery away from chemicals, perfume, lotions and sprays such as suntan lotion or abrasive creams, as these can affect the finish of the resin. ♥ Our resin jewellery is some of the hardest available, but try to avoid sharp, pointy things that could scratch the surface. ♥ When needed you can wash resin pieces with soapy water and dry it with soft cotton fabric. ♥ Do not take a bath or shower with your resin jewellery on. Resin is water-resistant but not waterproof.

How long will my order take?

From the moment we receive the hair or ashes we need only 10 to 15 business days to complete your order. We always send the photo of the finished item for your approval before we send it to you.

What happens once I have placed m order?

You will receive an email with the instructions on how and where to send the hair/ashes

Will my jewellery stay crystal clear forver?

We are using UV resistant resin. However, all resins will yellow slightly over time due to exposure to the sun. We strongly advise storing your jewellery in a box when not worn to avoid this.

4) When the ring is ready, I will send you pictures of the finished product
5) After your approval, I will send the keepsake to you along with any unused flowers

♡ PLEASE NOTE: Flowers have to be thoroughly dried before sending them to us. Only fully dried flowers can be enclosed in resin and turned into a wearable piece of jewellery.

If, for any reason, your sample doesn't arrive in this time frame, we will provide a coupon code for the total amount of the ordered items. The shipping cost will be refunded.
