This listing is for one hand painted Pharmacist-themed wine glass. The glass will be painted on a red wine glass.

INSPIRATION FOR THE GLASS

All of the inspiration for this glass came from a particular trip to a CVS Pharmacy in the middle of last year (2011). I gave my prescription to the pharmacist, and she asked me if I was "dropping off" or "would like to wait." Since the wait time was only 15 minutes, I decided to wait for my prescription.

FAX MACHINE
After waiting about five minutes, the pharmacist told me that the computer system was down, but that my insurance company was going to fax over my "explanation of prescription benefits" (whatever that means).

Another five minutes passed, and the pharmacist called my name. I thought my prescription was ready, but she was only telling me that my prescription was "not covered by insurance." I told her it was fine, and that I still wanted the prescription.

I HONESTLY DON'T GIVE A CRAP WHAT YOUR CO-PAY IS!
Ten minutes later, the pharmacist called my name as well as another lady's name, Mary. Mary made it to the counter first, so the pharmacist told her she owed $20 for her prescription. For the next 15 minutes I heard Mary argue with the pharmacist about how her co-pay was $15 and that was all she should have to pay. I felt so bad for the pharmacist, and I could tell she just wanted to tell Mary, "I honestly don't give a crap what your co-pay is!"

HAPPY PILLS
When I finally got to the counter, I told the pharmacist that I hoped she had just filled Mary's prescription for happy pills because she really needed them. I think I made the pharmacist feel a little better because she started laughing, but she told me that dealing with difficult people was all part of the job.

Well, I hope you liked my little story, now on to business:
