Look Good, Do Better. This is an in-stock, hand stitched needlepoint belt from Good Threads. We also specialize in custom needlepoint belts (see custom belt listing). All of our stock and custom needlepoint belts are skillfully embroidered and hand-stitched by parents of the Joan Rose Foundation (JRF) and others in the Haitian community. Each of our needlepoint belts uses full-grain leather and a solid brass buckle, and are truly the finest needlepoint belts on the market.

Good Threads, llc, located in Jacmel, Haiti. Good Threads provides stable employment, strong wages, and the freedom for employees to work from home. All of this translates to happier and healthier children and families at our sister, non-profit organization, the Joan Rose Foundation. (JRF). The Joan Rose Foundation was founded in 2010 by David Palmer. Today the JRF provides over 75 children with food, clothing, medical care and education to promote emotional and physical growth and development.

For every belt sold, Good Threads feeds a child at the Joan Rose Foundation for two weeks.

Sizing:
Men: We recommend adding 2 inches to your pant size to obtain the best Good Threads belt size. For example, a man who wears a 34 pant would wear a size 36 belt. If you have an odd pant size then round up, so a size 33 pant will wear a size 36 belt.

Women: Sizing can vary as women generally wear belts on their hips, not on their waist. It is best to measure an existing belt you have. Measure a belt by measuring from the point that the leather meets the buckle to the middle hole of the tongue. This will be your belt size.

You can begin the process by contacting us through Etsy or on our website www.GoodThreadsllc.com. Custom belts are $200.00. We ask for a 50% deposit, after which we will work with you to create your custom design.

We work with you to develop a color scheme and design that meets your specifications and needs. Your design will be manually input into a needlepoint program so that you can see exactly what your belt will look like, and you will have endless opportunities to make changes until we get get a design you love.

Final payment is not due until you have approved your final design. All custom orders are non-refundable once your final design is approved. Please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery following design approval.
