This is a Late Regency to early Romantic period dress pattern, created by me, Deb Salisbury, owner of The Mantua-Maker Historical Sewing Patterns. The pattern for this dress is copied from an original worn by a country woman in upstate New York. It was an everyday dress; not a scrub the floor dress, but probably not her Sunday best.

The sleeve is 'en gigot', very full leg of mutton shaped at the top and tapering to the wrist. The bodice is loosely fitted and fairly high waisted, with no bust darts and no boning. The front overlaps to the left side and is pinned in place.

This pattern includes 8 pages of instructions with historical tips, and 3 pattern sheets. It is printed on bond paper, and enclosed in a white paper envelope. All sizes 2 – 30 are included.

Please read all instructions before touching your fabric. There are tips along the way to make your life easier!

-- If I can ship multiple-item orders cheaper than my posted rates, I'll refund any excess postage over $1.00.
