Picked this set out carefully some years ago. They are fantastic in every way.
They measure between 6.5" and 7" tall by a little over 6" wide each and about 3" deep.
I had to weigh them on the bathroom scale because the shipping scale does not go that high. :) The weight is approx. 29 lbs.

Polished on the front, cork on the bottom so they sit softly.

True trophy bookends. Very hard to get any better than this set.

Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula is the most important locality in the world for native copper. Mining operations began in 1845 and continued until 1968. During that time over 5 million tons of refine copper were recovered from Michigan's native copper mines. Near the turn of the 20th century, Michigan led the world in copper production and "Lake Copper" was the purity standard to which other refined copper was compared.
