Here's an elegant lustreware candy dish, stamped on the bottom as hand-painted, made in Japan by Noritake, probably in the 1950's. The design features a white dove in the branches of a blooming cherry tree. The main colors are a creamy orange and a clean blue, with black accents on thin, luminous white china, and an iridescent glaze. The shallow dish has handles and a pedestal foot. It's in excellent condition.

The dish is 7" across (8.5" with handles) and about 2.5" tall
