This Vintage Hardback Book is titled: How Joe the Bear and Sam the Mouse Got Together. The author is Beatrice Schenk De Regniers and it is illustrated by Brinton Turkle. The book is in good condition. The back cover is loose from the binding and has a couple small tears but otherwise, very good condition. See last photo for picture of back cover. Story: Joe the bear is big and Sam the mouse is small, but when they meet at the gym, they decide to be friends. They soon find, however, that their tastes are opposite. Joe likes to ride slowly; Sam prefers to go fast. Joe likes violin music, Sam likes drums. Each discovery leads to tears as they learn of one more thing they can't share. They then discover that they both go for ice cream at three o'clock every day, an activity they can share.
