I make all of the papers by hand in my studio, in Ottawa, Canada. Marbled papers are traditionally used as endpapers for bookbinding, but they have a wide range of other uses such as collage, origami, scrap-booking, greeting cards, framing, box-making, and other paper crafts.

The featured pattern is Bouquet, also know as the Peacock pattern. To see many other colours and patterns, please visit my shop at artonwater.etsy.com

The first image is a detailed shot. The second is a scan of a quarter sheet - the full size is 19"x25", 4 times the size of what the image shows.

• Sheet size: 19" x 25" (48.26 x63.5 cm)

• Paper weight: 55 lb text

• Paint: Acrylic on carrageenan size

• Grain: long

• Paper color: white

• Acidity: pH neutral (acid free)

• Dominant colours: pink, with some light blue and russet accents

SHIPPING

These papers will be packaged with care and shipped to you rolled in an triangular corrugated cardboard tube to prevent damage during shipment. Triangle edges offer extra side protection, it is sturdy 200 lb. test corrugated, plus it won't roll around during transport like a round tube.

Shipping additional papers are FREE within the same order, so whether you order 1 sheet or 10 sheets shipping cost is the same to your location. Be sure to check out my other papers before checkout.

I apologize that I cannot offer lower shipping rates. I do not make any profit from shipping the papers. Unfortunately shipping from Canada is expensive. I hope to save you some money by offering FREE COMBINED SHIPPING of additional papers within the same order.

ABOUT MARBLING

Paper Marbling is an ancient art of painting on a aqueous base. The colors are dropped on to the surface using whisks, then they are manipulated with rakes and combs to create the intricate designs you see here. Unlike traditional print-making, marbling can only be done one sheet at a time, therefore each sheet is unique and an exact copy cannot be reproduced.
